It is snook season. Deborah, Joe and I decided to go out at night under the bridge to target snook. The day before I had to help repair Joe’s trolling motor spot lock. It was power connection issues. After the storms rolled past by 7 we went for it.
The wind was strong and the current fiercer. But the spot lock worked perfect. It was also a super moon night.
Joe and I were catching catfish. He got one large sail cat to keep. Those taste great. Deborah and I didn’t have any luck. At one point we had a large fish jump out of the water behind the boat. Any closer and it would have boarded.
